Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar and Indian Constitution

(14.04.1891 – 06.12.1956)

When we listen the name of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the first thing that comes in the mind of every individual is the Indian Constitution. Why so? It’s not only because he drafted the Indian Constitution but after drafting the constitution, the citizens of India got a shealed to protect their rights and when Indian Constitution gives us the rights it also gives us the duties and as per my view it’s also our duties to remember all those who gave their contribution in drafting the Indian constitution.
Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar also known as Baba Sahab was not only a social reformer or jurist but also and lawmaker who after drafting the Indian Constitution gave strength to the people of India and established the rule of law in the Indian society. Baba Saheb, being a person belonging to the backward community never let the caste system overcomes the will power and on the contrary, he gave the strength to the backward community to fight for its rights. He was Born on 14th April 1891 in a small town in Maharashtra.
As we all know the Indian constitution is the longest constitution of the world which is being recognized all over the world as it ensures every possible protection of rights which is the need of every individual throughout the country. In today’s world can be imagine our lives without law? Definitely not. These set of rules which governs the Indian society has been gifted to us by the legendary Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and his six other companion who were the real architect behind the construction of Indian Constitution. Our Indian Constitution is so well drafted that it can be seen useful even in today’s modern days with this utility of the constitution we can clearly understand how much utmost care has been taken to draft the Indian Constitution which can take care of its citizens even after so many years.
In conclusion, B.R. Ambedkar's contribution to the Indian Constitution is immeasurable. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the Constitution reflected the values of justice, equality, and liberty. His legacy lives on, and his vision for a just and equal society continues to inspire generations of Indians.
If we want to understand the far sightedness of Doctor Ambedkar, every individual must read the Indian constitution at least once.
